Learning the Language of the Heart
Rumi said," The heart has its language. The heart knows a hundred thousand ways to speak."
Everyone expresses love differently depending on their interpretation of love. We assume our spouses will show and receive love as we do. And if they don't, we worry they don't love us.
In this intensive workshop, we will unravel the seven love languages through the lens of Islamic scholarship and spirituality.

I Am a Man/Woman
We live in a world with a variety of ideologies, philosophies, and religions competing to define what it means to be a "man" and a "woman". It is imperative that we learn and understand masculinity and femineity from traditional Islamic sources.
In this workshop we will examine and define masculinity and femineity through the understanding of tradition Islamic scholarship. We will explore the spiritual realities of manhood and womanhood and how our differences bring us closer to Allah ad help us create peaceful homes and societies.
I Am a Husband/Wife
According to Islam, the family is a small social unit that makes up society. This small and fragile unit is formed by merging the masculine and the feminine. The relationship between spouses is incredibly intense and extreme-almost on the verge of unity. Allah expresses this eloquently:
And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.
The statement, "He has created for you, from yourselves, spouses", indicates the intensity of this connection and relationship. In this workshop we will identify our responsibilities within a marriage, and insha'Allah rekindle the love that should be ever present in the hearts of spouses.
I Am a Parent
Children are born pure. We have a responsibility to lead and guide our children through the traps and tribulations of this dunya.
